(2019-present) debut

Newly formed AlSeuBit Entertainment (Now OSR Entertainment) revealed that with former Pristin members, (disbanded in May 2019), a new five-member girl group would be formed. Four members were confirmed as Minkyeung, Yaebin, Gyeongwon, and Eunwoo. Their debut date was November 3, 2019.[2] On October 23, the group opened their official social media accounts (which confirmed the group's name as HINAPIA). Two days later, AlSeuBit revealed more details about the group, including the fifth member, Bada (Kim Ba Da), known for her dancing skills. They also revealed that the group will debut with a digital album: New Start with lead single, "Drip." On October 30, their first TV appearance came on the Korean variety show, Show Champion, performing their debut single, "Drip," ahead of release.[3]

On November 3, HINAPIA officially debuted with a music video. Their debut showcase, entitled "Pursuit Of A New Utopia," was held the next day. They performed on several music shows to promote the single. "Drip" reached number 18 on the Billboard's World Digital Chart, making them the 11th K-pop group to do so as a debut.[4] On December 9, 2019, they released their signature color, Red Dahlia, and their fandom name, UBY.[5]
